Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Level 2 builds on Level 1 fundamentals and provides advanced knowledge and skills required to independently perform, supervise, and evaluate PAUT inspections. Level 2 personnel are trained to set up and calibrate PAUT equipment, develop scan plans, select suitable techniques, interpret and size discontinuities, and prepare detailed written instructions for Level 1 operators.

This training is designed for individuals who already hold Level 1 and wish to progress to greater responsibility under PCN schemes. It ensures full compliance with PCN GEN 24 requirements and provides excellent preparation for the Level 2 examination.
